Amanda Knox To Sit Down With Criminal Justice Activist and Lava Music Founder Jason Flom

Join criminal justice activist and Lava Music founder Jason Flom for a new episode of his special edition podcast, Wrongful Conviction with Jason Flom & Guests – in the Time of COVID. His guest will this week will be Amanda Knox, the American who spent four years in an Italian prison for a murder she didn’t commit.

Knox will discuss her concerns for all those isolating alone – including the currently incarcerated. Because of her time in isolation, she shares her strategies on what she did to make the best use of her time and combat the absence of physical touch while in prison.

“I think one thing that could really help people during this time is to find indoor activities that help you engage with your own body,” she says. “I cannot recommend yoga enough because you don’t need a lot of space.” Getting in touch with your own body, she explains, can help alleviate the distress caused by a lack of connection and physical interaction with others.
This is the second conversation in a series of special edition episodes in which Flom will check back in with folks he has previously featured on his Wrongful Conviction with Jason Flom podcast. Future episodes will have him chatting with people like Nick Yarris, who endured 22 torturous years behind bars after his wrongful murder conviction.
