Contemporary brand AKNVAS has become a favorite of many celebrities and creative director Christian Juul Nielson decided to launch his brand after working under John Galliano, Raf Simons, and more. In addition to his label Ankvas, he is also working as the Creative Director of Herve Leger.
For his upcoming women’s collection and the debut of Ankvas menswear capsule collection, Nielsen turned to his travels in the Caribbean, imagining a world that blends his Danish upbringing with a laid-back tropical lifestyle. Think Cuba meets Copenhagen. As with the majority of the brands during this cycle of nyfw, Nielson opted to showcase the collection via a digital lookbook.
