It represents an intriguing balance between two worlds – wild nature alongside the realm of human construction. Kim’s abstract works are vast landscapes composed of thousands of hanji paper seeds whose inherent dynamism creates shifting textures, dimensions, and vibrating color. Artist’s experimentation with placing the pieces into nature exposes a harmonious relationship of the artworks existing as an extension or an integral part of nature.
