Hakuyo Miya-A Story of Japanese Traditions

Hakuyo Miya – The Parisian sustainable brand with a touch of Japanese traditions and enchanting stories from Eastern Europe.

Recently, Japanese fashion designers are confidently conquering the fashion world and our hearts with their uniqueness and originality. Brands like Yohji Yamamoto, Comme des Garçons, Issey Miyake, and Uniqlo have been around for a long time.

They have long become an integral part of the global fashion industry, and no one fashion week goes by without them. Japanese original design and high quality are appreciated all over the world. Every year the influence of the Japanese on the fashion world is only increasing and new designers from the Land of the Rising Sun impress us with their amazing collections. We also could not resist and visited the showroom of one of my most beloved Japanese fashion designer, Hakuyo Miya. His showroom is located in the very center of Paris next to the famous Louvre Museum.

Since 2016, Japanese designer Hakuyo Miya has been creating ready-to-wear clothing for women and perfectly matched beautiful fancy silhouettes of silk, lace, and rough fabrics.

Each piece offers a unique blend of Parisian elegance, influences of Japanese traditions, and enchanting stories from Eastern Europe. Hakuyo Miya is a small sustainable clothing brand that handcrafts a very limited number of garments in his Parisian atelier and many products were made by himself. For collections, the designer uses environmentally friendly fabrics and recycled materials, following the latest trends in the modern waste-free industry.
