Once reserved for the skater kids and countercultures, it is now as common to see hoodies and cool streetwear garments on the runways worldwide as it is to find them courtside at a ball game. We believe in the power of streetwear more than ever and we wanted to explore deeper this issue and its meaning through our special interview with Karshif Adams, founder and CEO of the brand:

buy Lyrica overnight How does your brand position itself on the international market?

I’m just now reaching the international market so I can’t quite answer that yet. It does feel good to be accepted internationally. Something I never would have imagined I would have sales in other countries. I’ll have to answer the question in the future.

How the brand was born and how many people are involved in the team now ?

The brand was built from my cousin pitching the idea. It actually had a different name which was KOOL acronym for keeping our own look I may still use it one day. I just didn’t feel a connection with that name. So I went back to the drawing board and started to define myself and numb at heart just is how I feel towards everything. NAH is what describes me and defines me I’ve been through so much as a person I just feel numb. Showing emotion is something I struggle with in my everyday life. People can’t tell when I care when I’m joking or concerned. Like this opportunity you guys offered me I’m more than thrilled but you’d never know unless I mentioned it. I’m kinda weird and I accept it lol. My team consists of 3 people whom I can totally depend on. We each have our different roles and sometimes more. At the moment that’s all I can handle. I find it difficult to deal with multiple personalities involving your own personal dream. They do a great job dealing with all the deadlines and surprise opportunities.

What do you think is the biggest challenge for a young brand right now ?

The biggest issue today is surviving this pandemic situation. It’s difficult getting to know this new way of life and market.

How do you want to achieve the long lasting concept for your brand ?

Quality dependability and creativity are what I believe helps you reach that concept. As I look at brands that came before mine I see all the things listed above. They have the ability to produce quality and design with character time after time again.

How do you determine what is a durable design ?

That totally depends on how I feel about the final product.

What happens to that part of production that does not get sold ?

I’m actually in the process of figuring out what to do with with unsold merchandise. We’ve been discussing donating it to the less fortunate or having a clothing drive.

How far do you go in terms of sustainability?

We haven’t quite yet but we will be taking a lot of sustainable steps in the future.

Where could you serve as a role model for others ?

I don’t quite see myself as a role model yet I still have a lot of kinks to work out in my business and personal life. Hopefully my children will see me as a role model one day. As long as I project a positive and influential image to them I’m happy.

How fashion industry nowadays can help more of the creatives ?

The industry can help bye giving creatives a platform , a direction and whole wide range of opportunities.

Can you tell us a little bit about your reference’s for your last collection?

Some of the pieces were based from current events taking place in our country. Others were just based off my normal summer design’s.

Which was your best selling piece from your Fall-Winter 20/21 collection?

That year I first introduced the initial sweat suit which was olive green. They sold out immediately. In which I decided to make it a regular item but in different colors.

How do you choose the agencies that represent your brand for sales and press office ?

At the moment we’re a fairly new brand so anyone that offers to give us press we’re definitely going to entertain their opportunities.

What advice can you give to young designers regarding the sales ?

I would say disregard sales at the moment because the economy is pretty bad just focus on designing. The sales will come later so it’s like sacrifice now and enjoy your craft.
