PALOMA WEEK 23-30 AUGUST LONDON-MANCHESTER

PATRÓN tequila marks a new occasion on the UK’s calendar celebrating Mexico’s favorite cocktail across London and Manchester. Praised for its refreshing and vibrant character, the Paloma cocktail has most recently emerged as a popular menu fixture beyond Mexican borders, across bars around the world and the UK alike.

Now, PATRÓN tequila marks a celebratory week in honor of Mexico’s favorite cocktail with the inaugural PATRÓN Paloma Week taking place in London and Manchester from 23 to 30 August 2021. With some of the best bars across the two cities serving their own special take on the PATRÓN Paloma, alongside complimentary food pairings on selected nights, the PATRÓN Paloma Week is set to make the tequila and grapefruit serve the official cocktail of summer.

Considered Mexico’s real treasured drink, the origin of the Paloma (meaning Dove) seems to be rooted in the iconic town of Tequila, located in Jalisco, the same state that is home to PATRÓN Tequila. The legendary Don Javier Delgado Corona, owner of the beloved La Capilla bar, is most often credited for its creation. The Paloma has recently been referred to as the trendiest cocktail of summer 2021 by The Sunday Times.

As simple as distinct in taste, the PATRÓN Paloma is a refreshing mix of PATRÓN Reposado tequila and premium grapefruit soda. On top of serving this flavoursome long drink, bars have been called to join in the PATRÓN Paloma Week with each one having a signature twist, giving bar-goers an exciting selection of innovative variants to taste and enjoy this summer.

Participating venues include London’s Hacha, Café Pacifico, Homeboy, Annabel’s, Satan’s Whiskers, Maison Bab and London Cocktail Club, Bethnal Green, plus a selection of bars offering a total of 3,000 complimentary PATRÓN Palomas on the DUSK app.

Each bar has created its own interpretation of the PATRÓN Paloma, bringing to life an array of great summer serves that are testament to the versatility of this cocktail.
