Louis Vuitton presented the Fall-Winter 2020 Collection by Nicolas Ghesquiere at the Louvre in Paris on Tuesday, March 3rd. This season Ghesquière collaborated with the costume designer Milena Canonero, who has worked with director Stanley Kubrick. Together they created a past as a mirror to the present, and a look toward the future, all while using the influence of history. Ghesquiere wanted to imagine what could happen if the past could look at us.
The collection was an ode to flirty skirting, futuristic outerwear that gave the varsity jacket a run for its money. This was an Haute collection that played both to the masculine and feminine Louis Vuitton customer.
